Privacy Statement

We recognise that personal privacy is an important issue and therefore take your personal data seriously. In regards to the GDPR act, any personal or medical information gathered through the website or paperwork signed at the salon will only be used for insurance and medical purposes. We hereby declare that we do not sell, license or trade your personal information to third parties. We also declare that we do not distribute your personal information to marketing companies or other such organisations. We may ask for your name, address, date of birth, email address, medical history or allergies. We need this information for booking purposes and to make sure you are eligible for the treatment. It is essential for us to ask for this information before carrying out the treatment as some medical conditions, medication or allergies may complicate the treatment. Failure to gather this information may be detrimental to your health and safety or impact your final results.

Booking Fee's

To secure your appointment date and time, you must pay a non-refundable £60 booking fee which will be deducted from the price due on the day of your treatment. Your appointment will not be secure until the booking fee has been paid. All booking fee's are non-refundable and can only be moved once when notice has been given. Failure to give 72 hours notice to reschedule an appointment will result in the loss of the booking fee. Appointments cannot be moved multiple times. You acknowledge that paying a booking fee to Alicia Dowling Permanent Makeup confirms that you have read the eligibility checklist and terms and conditions.

Patch Tests

A patch test is required at least 48 hours before your appointment. Providing no adverse reactions take place, we will be happy to proceed with your treatment. Failure to complete a patch test before your appointment could result in your appointment being cancelled and the loss of your booking fee.

Contraindications

It is your responsibility to disclose any medication you are taking prior to the treatment. You are also required to disclose any allergies, medical conditions or skin conditions you have prior to the treatment. Failure to disclose this information may result in the cancellation of your appointment, may impact your healed results or be detrimental to your health and safety. We cannot be held responsible if you do not disclose this information. It is also your responsibility to inform us of any changes in your medical history at any subsequent appointments.

Correction Work

I understand that I must inform Alicia Dowling Permanent Makeup of any previous pigment in the skin before I make an appointment. I understand that if I arrive on the day of the treatment in need of corrective work and I have not disclosed this information prior to the appointment, Alicia Dowling Permanent Makeup reserves the right to turn me away and charge the full price of the treatment.

Cancellation Policy

Failure to attend a scheduled appointment and failure to give at least 72 hours’ notice of cancellation or rearrangement of an appointment will waive your rights to using your booking fee towards a different appointment and your booking fee will be lost. In the event you have not paid a booking fee (top up appointments) a £60 cancellation fee applies which will need to be paid before you can re-book. No shows will need to pay a new booking fee to re-book an appointment. We understand that sometimes emergencies happen, and it’s not always possible to give adequate notice when you can’t make an appointment. However, be aware that if you repeatedly cancel appointments without proper notice or do not contact us, we reserve the right to refuse treatments.

Arrivals and Lateness

We recommend arriving 5 minutes earlier than your confirmed appointment time. Appointments are booked for specific time slots, if you arrive more than 10 minutes late, your appointment will be cancelled and you may still be charged. In respect of other clients, you are expected to arrive on time. Please arrive on time to avoid the loss of your booking fee and the cancellation of your appointment.

The Right to Refuse Treatments

Please note we reserve the right to refuse treatments. Disrespect and rudeness will not be tolerated. Alicia Dowling Permanent Makeup reserves the right to amend Terms and Conditions as and when it is considered necessary to do so.
